We are pleased to welcome Sirshar Qureshi and Kateřina Skryjova from PwC’s Dispute Advisory Centre of Excellence, who will present the key findings of the updated PwC International Arbitration Damages Study, which now includes investor‑state arbitrations decided up to November 2025.
Sirshar Qureshi, who leads the Centre of Excellence, brings more than 30 years of experience in financial matters arising from disputes and international arbitration, and has testified as a quantum expert in numerous international arbitration proceedings.
Kateřina Skryjova leads and coordinates teams globally, specialising in commercial arbitration, investment disputes, forensic matters and preparation of quantum expert reports. She has also testified as an expert.
Together with our experts, we will explore:
- the key findings of the updated damages study, including trends in amounts claimed and awarded in investor state arbitrations
- financial strategy and financial aspects of claims in international arbitration
- the assessment and quantification of damages, including economic, industry and market analysis
- expert testimony and the use of technology and tools to gather, analyse and present evidence
Our experts will share practical insights into the financial and evidentiary issues that arise in disputes and arbitration, followed by an open discussion.
